Information and Assistance

Information and assistance is just a phone call away for older adults and their families.  A toll-free number provides access to Care Management and referral to community-based and in-home services.  By calling, individuals can speak with an Information and Referral Specialist about available services.

Callers can seek information about topics such as:

• The Area Agency on Aging
• Locating housing, food and transportation
• Short and long term financial help
• Medical and prescription drug aids
• In-home services
• Caregiving assistance
• Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP)
